Currently there is no cure for ezcema but it can be kept under control by treatment and maintaining a daily skin care routine. Treatment include tropical corticoteroids, antihistamines and antibiotics. It is also important to find a good soap and moisturiser for eczema prone skin.
Cetaphil Restoraderm skin restoring body wash* and moisteriser* work together to improve skin hydration and maintain skin barrier integrity in children and adults.
The body wash is fragrance free and soap free which helps with the skins natural barrier and restores moister back to dry skin. The body moisturiser is the perfect compliment to the body wash. It is a light, creamy and non-greasy moisteriser which helps to moisturise very dry, itchy and sensitive skin. Because it is non-greasy, it will absorb quickly into the skin leaving it soft and soothed. By using these products, it doesn't guarantee that dry itchy skin will completely disappear, it will only lessen the severity.

- Price:
- Body wash $19.99 (295ml)

I love this review! My boyfriend has really senistive skin and at one point we thought he had eczema aswell.. his mum suggested we try this wash and he did over the weekend - so far its a blessing!
ReplyDeleteYeh Cetaphil is really good for sensitive skin. I dunno if it's because of me taking really hot showers but I get so itchy these days, using this helps!
DeleteI love cetaphil! I have sensitive skin (but not eczema) and it is really nice to use. Not too heavy and doesn't leave my skin feeling like I've used harsh chemicals on it.
ReplyDeleteHey Rhiannon, yep I agree. In my previous review for cetaphil face wash i used it at night thats why it didnt do much but now that I use it in the morning, it's amazing!!
DeleteOMG girl seriously... i am battling eczema on my face.
ReplyDeleteIt won't go away!
Ling! that's no good. My back has been really itchy the past few months, its leaving scars all over my back so yuck.
DeleteI know right! Lucky the skincare range from La Clinica that I'm using is really helping all the other areas. But I have to use cortisone cream on the affected area but it keeps coming back. I'm wondering if it is stress. I don't know what is triggering it.
DeleteI always get eczema in winter and go through so many different products trying to find something that works... might have to give this a go!
ReplyDeleteHey Jennifer, give it a go doesn't hurt!
DeleteOh I love Cetaphil too. I love to use it because my skin is so sensitive.
ReplyDeleteAnd Cetaphil products are really good for healing skin problem. Plus it is fragarance-free (:
Hey Stephanie, yep love the fragrance fee in products! These are great for winter and especially for sensitive skin.
DeleteI am keen to try this. Whilst I don't suffer from eczema I hear it's really good for the skin. I wonder if it will help my back? I suffer from bad skin on my back at times and nothing seems to shift it.
ReplyDeleteHi Martyne, I have the same problem on my back. You should give it a go to see if it works for you.
DeleteI don't have eczema but I do have problematic skin and have heard Cetaphil works wonder...might have to try it out sometime. :)
