Urban Decay Naked Palette and more..

Happy Tuesday!! If you follow me on twitter and instagram, you would know how excited I got when my BeautyBay ordered arrived last week! I was pretty much spamming all social media lol I couldn't blog about it right away because I had to wait until the weekend so I could get some decent lighting for photos. I didn't go crazy during the Black Friday sales, I bought what I desperately wanted for ages. As you can see, I got both the Urban Decay Naked palettes! I've always wanted these palettes since they came out!! I couldn't decide which one to get so to prevent myself from regretting later on, I got both lol. I always say to myself 'buy now, think later'.

Shimmery goodness!! Such beautiful palettes, they are so beautiful that I don't want to ruin them so after I took photos I put them back into the original packaging lol.

New primers I purchased are the Pore Perfecting and Eyeshadow. I've been using the sample size eyeshadow primer than came with the Naked Palette, all I can say is you must try it!! My eyeshadows now lasts 12hrs+. I've tried the pore perfecting primer once and I don't really see any difference, but I'll definitely need to use it a few more times before I can say more.

I've read some good reviews on the Touche Éclat so I was curious to see what it was like. I haven't used it yet but the packaging sure feels luxe. This was $22, how could I pass it up?

This curling wand was a real bargain, I got it for $26 and I saw it on Ry for $70ish. I've used it twice, first time was a total fail. I couldn't get my hair to curl. Second time was pretty good, I got the loose beach waves so I'm pretty happy with this purchase!

My new Mimco Soho Cocoon bag!

Happy Sunday!! Yesterday I popped into Mimco, saw the Soho Cocoon bag on sale! Bought it for $139 (RRP $349)!! I've never owned a pink bag before even though it's one of my favourite colours. I'm so excited, going to wear it everyday now!

As always I love taking a bunch of photos to show off my new purchase lol

The straps can be adjusted, can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

The bag looks small but it can actually fit all the stuff I had in my le pliage.

One thing did cross my mind when I was buying it - Am I too old to wear pink? What do you ladies (or gents) think?

My new toy!!!

Say Hello to my new toy!! I thought I have spammed enough on twitter and that it was time to move onto spamming my blog about my new baby Samsung Galaxy S3!!

I have been obsessed for months about getting this phone, constantly checking the release date. When it was finally released last Thursday (31st of May), I ordered on Optus straight away. This new toy of mine finally arrived Friday morning. I was tracking my phone like crazy, sometimes I think I have OCD or something.

Here are some pics I took of my awesome phone

When I open the box, I was surprised at how thin and light this phone is!! I can't really comment on the phones hardware since I'm not a techy person but it's fast and has a quad core!! I love the big screen, good for watching youtube in bed or reading news on the train. The camera is amazing too!! I recently signed up for Instagram (sparklingker), get ready for some random photo spamming lol Let me tell you this phone is BIG. My hands are quite large for a chick and I can only just manage to wrap my hands around it. Overall, I am very impressed with this phone.

So far the apps I have downloaded are:

So tell me, are you an android user? Recommend me some free apps to download!! I never pay for stuff I can get for free lol

Shopbop!!!

Check out my new babies from Shopbop! I ordered them last Thursday night and it arrived yesterday morning!!

I'm sorry about the photo quality, I find it really hard to avoid shadows when I'm taking pics, especially these ones.

 Zipper style earrings!! They look better in real life, this photo does it no justice.

I saw these at DJs on sale for like $60ish and got it from Shopbop for like $48.. I don't know why our retail stores are so expensive.

Here's a pic of me wearing both earrings lol B was like "whoa! when did you get a second piercing?" I haven't worn an earring in my second piercing since high school, noticed how my ear is red? It's coz I had to force it in!! It starting to close up.

This morning they had a 20% off code!! Trying to find other stuff I can buy to make good use of the code. So tempted with all their Marc by March Jacobs stuff!

Scored this skirt for $24.95 originally $109, then down to $89.95 again to $49.95 and then 50% off!!! I think my blog is turning into a place where I share sales lol

December bargain part 2 - Pilgrim Vacation Skirt

Finished up early at work today and I stopped by Pilgrim to check out any sales and it just so happens they have 40% off reduced prices. I picked up a Vacation skirt for $29, rrp. $99.95. It makes me look kinda wide but hey for $29 can't go wrong.

Witchery denim shorts

Scored these Witchery shorts for $34.95 from $79.95. When it was on the rack, it looked alright but once i had them one they look pretty good and felt really soft. It was just meant to be waiting for me lol The only pair and in my size!!

November bargain: Country Road Gathered Skirt

Hello =) Very pleased with myself today. I managed to pick up a CR gathered silk skirt in raspberry today for $9.95... you say WHAT??? I say yep awesome as ever haha It was originally $129.00 then down to 19.95 and a further 50% off!! I had a look at the CR website the dress is at 59.95, scored myself a super bargain. Pretty good for summer.

Love Heart Earrings

Hello Lovies~~ Today I was walking around the city looking for a present for my friend's birthday next week and I stumbled across this store called Mouche. They sell jewelry and accessories, I think it's Korean. I picked up a pair of very cute cupcake earrings for my friend and B got me these heart shaped earrings. I love oversized earrings where they cover your entire earlobe.

Comes with this box packaging then they also wrap the earrings in tissue paper.

Here they are my new earrings.. too bad I can't wear them right away. I can't wear earrings too often maybe like... once or twice a month. My ears get really infected.

What to wear to the beach?

Hii!! In 9 days, I will be headed off to Thailand. I'm not a beachy type person so I don't really have any outfit to suit the occassion. What kinda beach outfits do people wear to the beach? lol as silly as this sounds I had to google "beach wear". Not really a bikini fan since I feel like I have budges everywhere, only have a set coz I really needed it for a day spa place. Most of the results from the google show flowy dresses, I like dresses but dunno about the flowy bright colored ones. I'll definitely be bringing over shorts and a maxi but just wanted some other outfits so my pics don't look like im wearing the same thing everyday. Definitely, looking for a sun hat.

Kookai Clearance

The other day I decided to stop by the Kookai clearance. Heard the sales weren't that great but went any way. It was at a  warehouse type place and everything was everywhere. They had tables in the centre with boxes of clothes, to find anything you will need to dig through it. I love treasure hunting lol Around the room was racks of dresses. Managed to get 2 singlet tops for a total of $28!!!

October bargains - part 2

Heyyy!! Decided to write up about another bargain buy! At lunch time, I stopped by Forever New (an aussie clothing brand) and they had a whopping further 40% sale items! Scored myself this pair of shorts! They are awesomely cute =) For $17 you can't go wrong!

Looking at their website now, saw a few items I'm quite liking. How cute are these dresses and skirt? I was never really into Forever New but recently their new range are pretty dam cool. I love pastel colours and nothing too out there. Simple is my style. I like dresses that has a belt around the waist, coz I have big hips so anything that shows my waist makes me less self conscious.

I picked up this necklace from Lovisa. Looks better in person than in this pic. This is my first item purchased from Lovisa, hoping to wear it to a wedding this Sunday.

Tomorrow after work, I'll be on a mission to find some false lashes. I want to get the individual ones, never tried them before, hoping it won't be that hard.

October bargains

Last week, during one of my lunch breaks at work, I went to DFO South Wharf in Melbourne. I only had one hour to walk around (powerwalking around the shops is tough lol). I went to Country Road and they had a further 50% off storewide, my eyes sparkled up and I went straight in. I was a little disappointed as there was not much clothes in there in my size. However! all the winter accessories were on sale! I love stocking up on winter accessories. I got hosiery for $6.48!!! RRP was $24.95. I like CR stockings, quality is good and it's well made not like the cheap type you get where they go out of shape when you throw them in the washer lol.

My next bargain buy was at Decjuba. There was an extra 25% off sale items, I got a mocha colored cardigan for $20 originally $90!!! How good is that?? I couldn't find a pic online, I'll try and take a pic later.
