instagram, you would know how excited I got when my BeautyBay ordered arrived last week! I was pretty much spamming all social media lol I couldn't blog about it right away because I had to wait until the weekend so I could get some decent lighting for photos. I didn't go crazy during the Black Friday sales, I bought what I desperately wanted for ages. As you can see, I got both the Urban Decay Naked palettes! I've always wanted these palettes since they came out!! I couldn't decide which one to get so to prevent myself from regretting later on, I got both lol. I always say to myself 'buy now, think later'.
Shimmery goodness!! Such beautiful palettes, they are so beautiful that I don't want to ruin them so after I took photos I put them back into the original packaging lol.
New primers I purchased are the Pore Perfecting and Eyeshadow. I've been using the sample size eyeshadow primer than came with the Naked Palette, all I can say is you must try it!! My eyeshadows now lasts 12hrs+. I've tried the pore perfecting primer once and I don't really see any difference, but I'll definitely need to use it a few more times before I can say more.
I've read some good reviews on the Touche Éclat so I was curious to see what it was like. I haven't used it yet but the packaging sure feels luxe. This was $22, how could I pass it up?
This curling wand was a real bargain, I got it for $26 and I saw it on Ry for $70ish. I've used it twice, first time was a total fail. I couldn't get my hair to curl. Second time was pretty good, I got the loose beach waves so I'm pretty happy with this purchase!
Did you score any awesome bargains from the Black Friday sales?
I loooooove my Naked palette. I've been so tempted on numerous occassions to toss out all my other palettes out but I know i'd regret it come one day. I'm more of a natural brown tone'ish eyeshadow user. Do you think the Naked 2 Palette is a good one to have too or the 1 is enough? My only peeve about Naked is it's packaging. Velvet, seriously? hahaha. Luxe and all but mine's so not clean anymore.

I had a ball with Black Friday on Beautybay! I got the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box which came with a mini eyeshadow primer potion - I didn't know that when I bought it so I also got a full size UD primer potion, lol, gave the mini away :) I got a Tangle Teezer which I am madly in love with, and finally the Stila In the Garden palette! I paid extra for gift boxes and presium samples, it came in two fabulous reusable black boxes and included a heap of samples including mini lipsticks, face wash, body wash, perfume and shampoo/conditioner :)

Drooling over the Naked palettes! Even though I already have so many neutral and earthy tone eyeshadows, I'm still lusting over them!
ReplyDeletei got a bunch of stuff from cyber monday! my packages are slowly coming in... all of the stuff you got looks so shiny and pretty in your photos! i'll have to get that primer too. i've been meaning too for a while. i'm using the estee lauder pore minimizer and it works pretty well. i hope you will write a review on the UD pore minimizer! :D

Argh, great haul I'm drooling over each purchase. If you ever want to repurchase the Touche Eclat - I recently learnt that L'Oreal owns YSL, so the L'Oreal version might do the trick!

So jealous of your purchases, the Naked palettes are so drool worthy and the YSL Touche Éclat looks promising! I fail at curling my hair too haha so I'm interested to see how the Babyliss goes :) I must have been living under a rock as I didn't even know there were Black Friday sales :(

I want to purchase from beautybay soooooo bad, but not quite sure whether the normal free shipping is safe enough to reach OZ.....
