Happy Monday everyone!!!
I have very fine, straight, boring hair. When I go out I see girls with voluminous hair that always look natural and bouncy! I am soo jealous!!! I started to experiment with my GHD straightener 2yrs ago to try to get that voluminous look. In this post, I wanted to show you guys how I curl my hair. This is the first time I've posted about my hair.
Before attempting to curl your hair, always use a good heat serum or protective spray. Today I used Heat Tamer Protective Spray from TRESemmé.
I always start off curling the lower section of my hair first. Tie up the upper section so it doesn't get in the way.
Then split the bottom section of hair in half.
Take a small section of hair, take the GHD clamp it against the hair (5cm from your roots), twist the GHD about half turn (towards or away from you) as you continue pulling through your hair. The thicker the section is, the looser the curl will be. The slower you go the smaller the curls will be.
Don't worry about stuffing it up, wait for your hair to cool down a bit and try again.
Take the next section and repeat rotating the GHD.
After all the bottom section is done, it should look something like this.
Now start working on the top section. Take out your hair and tie up about half of the top section.
Start curling the side that hasn't been tied up using the same motion as before.
Finished!! This is what it should look like! To maintain curls make sure you use some mousse or hairspray.

I've had my GHD for around 3 years now and this baby is still working like I just got it. Recently, I was on
www.ghdhair.com/au/ and found out they had limited edition - Peacock collection that came out! Looks pretty awesome! I'm sure most of you ladies would know already, I'm a bit behind sometimes lol If I had extra cash flow, I wouldn't mind getting the purple peacock! Someone should buy it for me!!!
How do you style your hair for a night out?
