Our Wedding - 5 May 12

On the 5th of May 2012 was our wedding day. 101 of our dearest family and friends help us celebrate our marriage. The day was amazing, we had so much fun and couldn't have wished for a more perfect day (despite the cold and rain!!).

Review: MOR Lychee Flower Lip Nectar

The other day at Myer, I was ravaging through their discounted selves. I spotted MOR had some products that were discounted and one was this MOR Lychee Flower Lip Nectar! I quickly snapped it up for $13.95 (RRP $19.95). First time I've tried any of their products.

MOR describes this lip gloss as "high-gloss Lip Nectar renders sweet lips that beg to be kissed! Worn alone or over lipstick, create the perfect pout that will leave admirers swooning".

Availability: Myer or Online
Price: 10ml for $19.95

Pros:

• Great packaging
• Very Shiny
• Great pigmentation for a gloss
• No Shimmer
• Not tested on animals
• Paraben & Sulphate free

Cons:

• Thick texture
• Sticky - You will need to tie your hair up otherwise you'll have hair stuck all over your lips lol
• Weak scent - Even though this is my MOR first product purchased, I have seen friends use other MOR products which has a heavy emphasis on their lovely scent.

Overall: This is a moisterising and long lasting gloss, it stayed on for hours which is great for winter. Only annoying thing about this gloss or any other gloss is that my hair gets stuck to my lips. I'm not very knowledgeable in terms of the ingredients so I can't really write about it lol But will definitely buy again!

My new Mimco Soho Cocoon bag!

Happy Sunday!! Yesterday I popped into Mimco, saw the Soho Cocoon bag on sale! Bought it for $139 (RRP $349)!! I've never owned a pink bag before even though it's one of my favourite colours. I'm so excited, going to wear it everyday now!

As always I love taking a bunch of photos to show off my new purchase lol

The straps can be adjusted, can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

The bag looks small but it can actually fit all the stuff I had in my le pliage.

One thing did cross my mind when I was buying it - Am I too old to wear pink? What do you ladies (or gents) think?

Nuffnang movie screening - The Artist & DVD giveaway!

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending Nuffnang movie screening of The Artist at the Jam Factory in Gold class!!! To be honest before going to see this movie, I had no idea what it was about except for the fact it's rated 8.2 on IMDB and 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. So I knew it would be an amazing movie!  

"The movie is set during the twilight of Hollywood's silent era and shot on location in LA, The Artist tells the story of a charismatic movie star unhappily confronting the new world of talking pictures. Mixing comedy, romance and melodrama, The Artist itself an example of the form it celebrates: a black and white silent film that relies on images, actors and music to weave its singular spell."

This is my first silent movie that I've watched, I wasn't too sure if I would enjoy it but I must say it's an impressive movie. The actor and actress is amazing! Here are some random photos that I took last night.

I've been to gold class a few times and loved the reclining seats. One thing I did learn from last night was that the arm rest can be lifted up to store your bags and stuff! I even took a photo for you guys... Yes, I get fascinated at random things lol I also took an OOTD pic. I'm loving the female toilets in Jam Factory, look how skinny it makes me look!!!!

My new toy!!!

Say Hello to my new toy!! I thought I have spammed enough on twitter and that it was time to move onto spamming my blog about my new baby Samsung Galaxy S3!!

I have been obsessed for months about getting this phone, constantly checking the release date. When it was finally released last Thursday (31st of May), I ordered on Optus straight away. This new toy of mine finally arrived Friday morning. I was tracking my phone like crazy, sometimes I think I have OCD or something.

Here are some pics I took of my awesome phone

When I open the box, I was surprised at how thin and light this phone is!! I can't really comment on the phones hardware since I'm not a techy person but it's fast and has a quad core!! I love the big screen, good for watching youtube in bed or reading news on the train. The camera is amazing too!! I recently signed up for Instagram (sparklingker), get ready for some random photo spamming lol Let me tell you this phone is BIG. My hands are quite large for a chick and I can only just manage to wrap my hands around it. Overall, I am very impressed with this phone.

So far the apps I have downloaded are:

Love going to Madame Tussauds, it's so much fun taking silly photos. It doesn't matter if I know the person or not, I'll take a photo with anyone lol This is my second time going to Madame Tussauds, first time was in Hollywood and it was just as much fun if not more.

Review: Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial Masque

A while ago, Clinique had a GWP and I needed to find something in their product range to make up the $60 to get the GWP (if you don't understand this, don't worry I don't even get myself sometimes). So I was going through their stuff trying to find something I will use. I came across this masque, saw the price $68 and thought 'perfect!' (I didn't care if it was worth it or not, all I could think of was getting my hands on that GWP).

According to Clinique "In 5 minutes, this high-performance oil-free facial delivers all the radiance and smoothness of microdermabrasion with significantly less irritation and stress to skin. Promotes surface cell turnover on multiple levels to instantly unveil skin that's fresher, more vibrant, even toned."

Availability: Clinique Cosmetics counters or online

Price: $68.00 for 75mL

Application: I just squeezed some onto my fingers and applied a thin layer onto my face. Leave on for 5mins, it dries kinda white. Wash off in warm water using circular motions.

Pros:

• Very gentle - grains are not too course
• Leaves skin feeling really smooth, exfoliated and refreshed
• Didn't irritate me
• No fragrance
• Can be used on sensitive skin (but depends on your skin type, don't kill me if you react to it lol)

Cons:

• Leaves tiny glitters my face after mask is washed off
• Expensive but it does last for a while
   

Overall: I love this product!! The following morning when you wash your face, it is amazingly smooth. I would love to buy this product again but I'll probably wait for another GWP.
